I washed the covers of Franny’s old beds, then stacked them in the corner of the living room. Polly has been enjoying her new bedonabed.

A strong storm system moved in last night, just as it was starting to get dark. The rain was welcome, but the lightning and thunder, not so much.

Coreopsis
The funny looking weedy things growing in my flower pots alongside the volunteering forget-me-nots finally bloomed and showed themselves to be coreopsis. I’m glad I didn’t pull them out!

Lilies
I stopped at Kroger on my way home from work. They were completely out of Halo Top ice cream. Boo! But there were some gorgeous pink lilies in front of the store, so I took some photos.
