This is the post I would have posted yesterday if I had been able to post yesterday. Alas, Teh Internets were b0rked, and then the electricity went out, so I gave up and went to bed instead. Not that it did me any good, though, because without electricity there was no fan and without a fan there was no white noise and without white noise, there was NO SLEEPING.
Outhouse
In scanning my grandpa’s old negatives, I came across this one. I don’t know when or where it was taken, but it amuses me because I love taking photos of outhouses. Apparently I come by that legitimately!

Musical Interlude
In no particular order, and with no particular relation to each other aside from the fact that they’ve all been stuck in my head lately:
Way Over Yonder in the Minor Key by Billy Bragg & Wilco with Natalie Merchant
Ohio by Neil Young, Live at Massey Hall
Letter to Elise by The Cure, MTV Unplugged
Palomine by Bettie Serveert, Pinkpop 1993
Have You Ever Seen the Rain by John Fogerty, Wiltern Theatre 2005
According to the weather people, we’ll be seeing the rain for the next 7 days. Joy.

Thar She Blows!
That red dot below Indianapolis is me. I’m really hoping that the tornado watch we’re under doesn’t turn into a tornado warning (counties northeast of us are under one right now). And if it does, I hope that IU’s emergency warning system is working properly, because I can barely hear the storm sirens from my bedroom. They aren’t loud enough to actually wake me up, but an email notification should.
I really, really, really hate tornado season.
Doodles, Ahoy!
Spring Cleaning
Apparently today was the day for spring cleaning. All the rugs have been washed, and the patio windows are clean inside and out, including the frames and tracks. Well, clean-ish. Harriet immediately smeared her nose all over them. Brat.
And look at what a beautiful day it was! Sunny and not too hot, just perfect for opening the windows and airing out the house.
