In the top photo, the rising sun is catching the tops of the trees. I love my view at that time of day, because when the sun is shining, it doesn’t matter what season it is, it’s beautiful.

Pens and Nibs
One of my coworkers is helping her mother clean out her home, in preparation for moving to a retirement community. Apparently, her parents had a hard time throwing anything away, so there is a lot of stuff to sort through. She’s been bringing me odds and ends of art supplies, as she comes across them. Today’s treasure was a small Faber Castell tin with dip pens and nibs, along with a handful of old watercolor brushes.
Blue
The one thing little point-and-shoot cameras can do that larger DSLRs cannot is fit inside small containers. Specifically, my cobalt blue drinking glasses.
Too Sleepy for Cookies
Harriet could sleep through the End Times, I think. As much as she likes food, she’ll also sleep through having a cookie placed on her nose.
Green Beans
The house is starting to smell like green beans. Miss Brown approves. The entire time I was snapping beans, she sat under my feet, cleaning up every dropped piece. I think she might have eaten the entire bag of beans, if I’d let her.
