Tired Dog Is Tired

Apparently, when I said “blogging will be light,” I actually meant “blogging will be non-existent.” But I’m back from Minnesota and have a ton of photos to go through. Most of the pictures are from visiting cemeteries. I also found some old cabinet cards in a junk shop, which I need to scan.
But first, a nap. Or two.

The only explanation I can think of for people doing math on the wall is that there’s a photocopier right under this area. I wonder if people are tying to figure out how many copies they can make with the money they have left?
Blogging will probably be light for the next few days, as I am going to be on the road.
Peanut Butter Contains Peanut
I don’t know whether to be skeptical that it contains just the one peanut, or amused that such a warning would be deemed necessary in the first place. I mean, what on earth would peanut butter be made of, if not peanut(s)?

A Cautionary Tale
Someone on Facebook mentioned that they were surprised to find that Funkytown was on their iPod. I thought it was amusing (and so did she, I think), but then I got home and looked at my own iPod, and I’ll be damned if it wasn’t on mine, too. It sneaked in with some songs on a “best of something or other” compilation CD.
So, I guess the moral of the story is, check your iPods, kids! Funkytown could be lurking, ready to shuffle itself into the rotation at any moment.

I finally managed to get a photo of him, before the cats scared him off.
Those are my poor tomato plants in the background. I had to cut them down because it was just too dry. Even watering them every day wasn’t enough. But then, despite there being no rain for weeks and weeks and weeks, they somehow managed to put out new growth.
