I stopped working on this ages ago because I hated the Laura Ashley underpainting. It was awful, and I just couldn’t think past it. The painting is back on track now, and hopefully, if the drippy bits dry enough overnight, I’ll be able to finish it tomorrow.

I have a pair of old milk glass canisters that my mom gave me. They’re covered with these wonderful decorations of animals, people, flowers, and trees. I don’t know if it’s supposed to be a highly stylized hunt scene, but if it is, Mr. Fox doesn’t look particularly concerned.
