Once more I see the spindle fly
The Vision Widens
By Heart

collage in altered book
6 5/8 x 9 inches
I cut that little piece of text out, intending to use it in one of the collage poems. And then I lost it. Which meant I had to go back through the entire book to find those two words AGAIN. And then this afternoon I found it, under the dining room table. I have no idea how it got there, but I felt like I’d better use it while I still had it in my hands.
The Gloaming
In Ether Clad: Bonus Pages
Dim shadows musing dreamily
There have been wrecks
on smaller seas.
A moment’s light, a rayless tomb
A swallow darting through the room
He might have sailed
from star to star,
To find a port from which to start
We weigh the planets one by one
While spirits make
their nightly round
In Ether Clad
