I’ve never sewn a binding on tapes before, so I gave it a try. I’d probably make a few small tweaks next time, but it turned out pretty well.

This tattered moth hung out all day on the patio window.
My little baby washing machine is big enough to wash a king size fleece blanket without crowding it.
I haven’t used the laundry room since getting a washer, and I haven’t missed it a bit. On a warm, breezy day, clothes dry almost as fast on the clothesline on my patio as they do in a dryer, and the clothesline is more handy and much more environmentally friendly.
This guy is unflappable. He will park himself just a foot from my patio and then graze, while Thomas yells at him to get offa his lawn. Mr. Groundhog has zero effs to give.
Poor biscuit had to go for a walk, and I wouldn’t let him eat the Hot Pocket he found in a ditch because I’m a monster. And then when we got home, I wouldn’t play with him. He was having he worst day ever.
I made this sketchbook three years ago and finally finished it.

We’re a month late with everything this spring, because it was so cold. It’s a little scary.
I don’t think there’s a better way to test a new blender than to make hummus. It’s no Vitamix, but it’ll do!
I finally had a chance to clean off the patio for summer. I also planted zinnias, sunflowers, and a perennial wildflower mix, from seed. And then it rained. Hopefully something will grow!
