Harriet was named after a song on their long out of printEarly Recordings album. That’s how much I love them. I had no idea that there was an Early Recordings volume 2.

We had a big tech services meeting today, so I had time to doodle. I also had my annual evaluation this morning (at 7am!), which was fine. Human Resources decided to switch to a different format this year, and I guess a bunch of people are upset about it. It’s pretty standard, though. I suspect that the folks who are most upset are the ones who have worked here for 20-30 years. They don’t know what it’s like to work anywhere else, so they’re incredibly inflexible. I don’t care, as long as I get a decent evaluation. And I did!
I never spend pennies. I have a bunch of bowls and piggy banks and even teapots, where I dump them when I clean out my coin purse. This was a habit I started in high school, only then I kept them in a half-gallon Bacardi bottle. When the bottle was about half-full, I knew I had enough pennies to cash in to pay for a concert ticket. In high school and college, I went to a lot of concerts with my pennies. Now, I just let them pile up.
It snowed today. A fair amount, too. I think it’s pretty much done now, though, which is good. I’ve got a dental appointment at 8am, so it would be nice if the roads would stay clear. It looks like it’s not supposed to be as cold in the morning as was earlier forecast, which is also good! It may not seem like much of a difference, but 11F is a whole lot warmer than 3F.
Now, I just have to decide whether I’m going to make up time working tomorrow or Saturday. Hmmm.
