I think of this song whenever someone I know over-shares. There’s been a lot of that this week, so this song has been flitting in and out of my head.
I don’t think I posted this one. I’ve been listening to whole album pretty much non-stop for a couple of weeks. (How did I miss this when it first came out? I must live under a rock.)
While I like the whole album, I think this is the weakest song on it, so I’m not sure why they released it as a single. Oh well. If I ran the world, things would be different!
I have been listening to this whole album over and over and over again, but even more so this particular song. It’s simply beautiful.
I’ve been listening to The Decemberists all day. This has to be one of my all-time favorite songs, especially Part 2.
I’m really ambivalent about Christmas. This song cracks me up, though.
I grew up listening to John Prine. I love, love, love his music, and this is one of my absolute favorites.
I think the Universe is on a mission to make me like the Grateful Dead. It’s going to be a long road, but this is one more step along it.
