When I got Frances, she would not eat fruits and veggies. Nothankyou, ma’am! I’ve kept offering them to her, over and over and over again, and she has finally decided that they are for eating. Garlic dill pickles, tomatoes, green beans, carrots, apples, and clementines. Today’s success was green peppers.

Every winter, the crows come to Bloomington. Thousands and thousands and thousands of them, all over town. This small group was congregating near the lot where I park my car.

I was never much of an Elvis fan, but I will always remember the day he died because my best friend at the time, Vicky Poff, was heartbroken. She spent the night at my house that night and brought all her Elvis records and magazines with her, and we stayed up all night, having our own little wake for him.

One of my coworkers had a pair of headphones stolen from her cubicle and another coworker’s desk was rifled through. And then this pair of cheesy CHiPS sunglasses showed up. So far, they haven’t been claimed, and as far as I know there have been no Cartman sightings.
