I picked four ripe little romas this morning. I haven’t had a chance to taste them yet, but I think supper is going to include a tomato sandwich.
In other news, I finished the page for “X” and am half finished with “Y.” I need to start thinking about what I’m going to do with the front and back covers, because they’re bare Davey board at this point. That clearly won’t do.
I never used to like maple syrup. It always tasted tinny to me, but then I realized–DUH!–that I’d only ever had it from a metal container. I picked up a plastic jug of it a few weeks ago, and it is seriously yummy. So I’ve been looking for things to use it on, and plain yogurt is one of the best pairings (above, with granola and frozen blueberries). I also like it in tea and on cold cereal. Much nicer than sugar.
