He waited to dream
his dream alone
No light save the stars
to guide him home

Gently woke the sleeping skies,
Waiting for the moon to rise

For still the circle wider grew,
Home, by her rippling waters blue

On weary wing in binding grim
the lesser stars grow pale and dim
