Mani-pedi Time
Thomas hates nail trims with the heat of a thousand suns. The first time I tried ro cut them, he totally freaked out and growled at me.
Mani-pedis still aren’t his favorite thing, but as long as he’s distracted with peanut butter, he’s mostly cooperative.
I think we can both live with that.
Kill Room?
I used the freight elevator this morning. For some reason, the interior has plastic sheeting taped to the walls. Very Dexter. And apparently I’m not the only one to think so, because someone wrote “Kill Room?” on the tape.
Also, sharing from Instagram to Flickr seems to be working again. YAY!
House Rules
Someone in one of my dog groups asked what everyone’s house rules were. There were lots of detailed lists about not begging, being crate trained, and not getting on the furniture.
Mine are pretty simple:
1. Don’t eat the cats
2. Potty outside
3. Entertain me
That’s about it. We do other things, but the rest is all gravy.
Sweetest Boy
I was sitting, watching TV, and then Thomas did this and I died of cute. I can’t even with this dog.
Surprise!
It isn’t anything like what the east coast is supposed to get, but it snowed. Poor surprise lilies.
Baby Bear
I gave up trying to encourage Thomas to nap somewhere else, during the day, so I put one of his beds on top of the ottoman. He’s going to sleep there regardless, so he may as well be comfortable. Plus that’s one less thing on the floor for me to trip over.
Today was a lazy day. I finished season one of the Doctor Who reboot. Now for season two!
An Abstraction
I usually put almond milk in my coffee, but this morning I used half-and-half. It broke apart into hundreds of tiny little fat bubbles that were gloriously beautiful, for about 30 seconds. I was worried that maybe the half-and-half was old, but it tasted fine.
The Sun Came Out
We finally got a break in the rain. The weather today was absolute perfection.
Flower
I squish the coffee filters into a canister, to store them. They always remind me of a flower.
