DST is still kicking my ass. I could not stay awake at work this afternoon. And this evening, as I was scanning more negatives, I felt like I had a wool blanket stuffed in my head. I think I’m going to give up and go to bed.

Packaging Rage
I hate, hate, hate blister packs. I usually try to avoid them, but sometimes that’s not possible. I spent 30 minutes removing my allergy meds and putting them in a bottle. And then I got pissed off all over again at the mountain of packaging left behind. What a waste!

St. Patrick’s Day Sunrise
Happy St. Patrick’s Day! March 17 is also the day my Flickr account expires, and every year I waffle about whether or not to renew it. And every year, I eventually decide it’s worth it. So that’s what my subconscious spent the day mulling over. Exciting stuff, I know.
Actually, there was excitement today!
The fire alarm at work went off at 3:30. And it was not a drill. Apparently the motor in one of the elevators caught on fire. (Spring break is this week, otherwise there would have been hundreds of people on the lawn.)

I’m not sure which entertains me more, that I got Mr. Moose to balance on the edge of a book, or that the book has upside down cow butts on the cover. (Yes, it was one of those days at work.)

I think there’s an implication of “low quality” to the term “cut rate,” which makes the name of this drug store kind of amusing. And delightfully socialist, too, comrades!
