Every spring we have an in-house institute at work. Basically an all day conference made up entirely of time-wasting nonsense. This year we had box lunches served outside, under a circus tent. Fitting, I think.

I’m trying to tear apart an old mattress, so I can haul it out to the dumpster by myself. Miss Henry is, of course, supervising. (The inner springs will be recycled.)
Spring Cleaning
I picked a bad day for manual labor. It’s 78F inside (yes, I’m still refusing to turn on the AC). But! I got all my CDs sorted and stored in totes. Now I just need to make room in one of the closets for them. Then I can clean and paint the shelves the CDs were on. And THEN I’ll have more bookshelves. Because it’s all about the bookshelves, y’all. You can never have too many of those.

That mess just passed over us and has moved into Brown County, where it’s prompted a tornado warning. There was a LOT of circular movement in those clouds.
