Obsessive Note Taking
I’ve been going through some old college notebooks, looking for stuff to use for collage backgrounds. This one is crammed with teeny tiny supplemental notes. I’m trying to imagine being that focused on ANYTHING, now, and failing miserably. Who the hell was that person who took all these notes?!

Old Stuff
Archives has been cleaning out old junk from their office. They leave it outside the door with a “free” sign, for people to take. I periodically wander by to see what’s on offer. One day it was a giant box of hanging file folders (excellent score for the genealogy stash!), another it was a bunch of engraving plates, and most recently, it was a large, crumbly roll of old posters. I didn’t realize they were all the same poster when I took the entire roll, but that’s okay. They’re interesting and will be a nice addition to the collage stash, when I finally get them home.
Instant Review: Edamame
I’ve been eating a lot of edamame recently and have found that, while the dry roasted are a little bit ugly, they are far superior in taste and texture to the freeze dried variety I found at Target (Simply Balanced brand). The dry roasted ones also do not glow in the dark. Seriously. I don’t know what the Simply Balanced edamame is dyed with, but it’s a violent shade of green. Nothankyou!
