Franny’s recheck was not good. I knew it wouldn’t be, but I was hoping that even with her set-back, she would have been a little improved. Her vet thinks she’s worse.

For now, it’s more meds and more rest, while I try to figure out a better plan.

She also got to bake outside in the sun for a while. It’s still below PFP (Pit Bull Freezing Point), but I guess the sun felt good.

(I was supposed work today, but Frances had a bit of a regression yesterday, so I stayed home to keep an eye on her.)

Frances was doing so much better. Slow progress, but it was steady. And now this afternoon, she’s limping and acting sore again.

Her re-check is Monday, but I just don’t know what to think. This dog is going to give me an ulcer.

Frances says there is nothing wrong with her appetite, and potatoes are very tasty.

Frances scrunches up her lips when she disapproves of the outdoors shenanigans. It’s her “revving up the sasser” face.

As much as it annoys me when she barks at every damn thing, it’s a relief that she’s returning to her normal sassypantsing self.

Life is all about Frances these days. She’s been recovering so slowly that it’s hard to see the progress. I think the nice weather makes her feel better, though. And maybe baking her old bones is helping the healing, too? Today she’s getting up and down more easily, and this is the first time she’s had a good rolly-poly session, since she injured herself.

The oldladydog knows how to enjoy the gorgeous weather we’re having.

He’s looking less like a serial killer here than he normally does.
