Doesn’t he look sweet? You’d never guess that he stole an entire stick of butter and ate the whole thing, paper wrapper and all.

When you interrupt your dog’s meditation to ask him how he can be so damn cute.

Thomas hates nail trims with the heat of a thousand suns. The first time I tried ro cut them, he totally freaked out and growled at me.

Mani-pedis still aren’t his favorite thing, but as long as he’s distracted with peanut butter, he’s mostly cooperative.

I think we can both live with that.

Someone in one of my dog groups asked what everyone’s house rules were. There were lots of detailed lists about not begging, being crate trained, and not getting on the furniture.

Mine are pretty simple:
1. Don’t eat the cats
2. Potty outside
3. Entertain me

That’s about it. We do other things, but the rest is all gravy.

I was sitting, watching TV, and then Thomas did this and I died of cute. I can’t even with this dog.

I gave up trying to encourage Thomas to nap somewhere else, during the day, so I put one of his beds on top of the ottoman. He’s going to sleep there regardless, so he may as well be comfortable. Plus that’s one less thing on the floor for me to trip over.

Today was a lazy day. I finished season one of the Doctor Who reboot. Now for season two!

We hate the fat orange cat with the heat of 1000 suns. No idea why. We just do.
