My father is the son of Margaret Barzen and Paul George Couvrette, but he was adopted. I’ve done some research on them, but I was only able to go back a couple of generations further on the Barzen and Schlosser lines. I’m happy to share what I have, though.
Yes, I would love to do a swap! I didn’t even know Margaret and Paul adopted children. My dad has little to no knowledge of his aunts, uncles, and cousins. Is there a good way to get in touch with you? I have a Facebook page if you are on there: https://www.facebook.com/annie.barzen/ :) We have a fair amount of info on the Barzens, including a family tree dating back to the 1700’s, but tracing the Schlossers has been harder. I would also love to hear stories about your grandparents if you have any! Again, the family’s knowledge of the John and Margaret growing up, their siblings, etc is quite spotty. Paul Couvrette and Margret Barzen had three children, two adopted and one biological. I’m not in contact with my father (one of their adopted kids), but I’m in contact with my aunt and uncle.
