That is just so wrong! And imho very ugly. One library where I worked, we all froze & even with the ban on space heaters we all had one. Good luck. Jackie
It's totally ridiculous! I don't know what the intended purpose of the LCD screen is. It's across from the public elevators, so maybe they're going to use it for informational videos?
The new dean said that she didn't want us to have space heaters, when they did the walk around with the architect/HVAC people. The head of the tech services hasn't told us we have to get rid of them though. Yet. And until she does, I'm not giving mine up. There's nothing more miserable than having to sit at a computer while you're chilled to the bone.
