I started this one almost exactly a year ago, then set the notebook aside and lost track of it. I found it again while spring cleaning last weekend. Just in time for Monday’s all day, in-house conference. Lucky me!

We had an all day, in-house conference today, and since it didn’t start until 8am, I got to sleep in. Before I left for work, I took a look at the garden and saw that the irises were blooming. I’m glad I caught them when I did, because we had torrential downpours today, so the flowers got battered all to hell.

Every spring we have an in-house institute at work. Basically an all day conference made up entirely of time-wasting nonsense. This year we had box lunches served outside, under a circus tent. Fitting, I think.
