Itty Bitty Kidney Beans!1!!!
The couple who just moved into the stompy girls’ apartment (across the hall from Mr. Upstairs) have a baby Boxer puppy. Oh mah gawd! The cuteness is nearly paralyzing. I’m guessing she’s about 10 weeks old, plain fawn with little white dancing toes. She’s all wrinkles and wriggly kidney beans. While I was petting her, she squirmed and slid around in her skin, like it was 10x too big for her. She reminded me of a little kid playing dress-up in her mother’s clothes: it’s hard to believe she’ll grow into them someday.
Trees and Clouds
I’m still amazed at all the new greenness. It was especially vivid today, because of the rain.
I took this at a little after 8pm. The sky was a deep grey (teal here, thanks to Photoshop) with little white clouds skudding along. It was kind of creepy, because they were moving from southeast to northwest, while the grass was flattened by ground level wind moving in the opposite (and normal!) direction.
Bunny Watch
It rained on and off all day, but between the showers, the bunnies were out and about. Harriet sat by the patio door, watching them. (And yes, those are ugly white faux Crocs. The stupid things last forever and are excellent for dog walking, especially when it’s wet out or in areas where your neighbors don’t pick up after their dogs.)

Lensbaby 2.0
I ordered it on Tuesday, and it arrived today. I don’t think it gets much faster than that. Shipping was free, too!
I had to test it immediately. After the first couple of test shots, I realized that I’d better set my camera on aperture priority, because everything was seriously overexposed. Oops! It helps to RTFM.
I foresee much experimentation over the weekend.
