I finally got the mountains of papers under some sort of control yesterday. I spent most of the day on it, finishing up at about 11:00 last night. I still have a small stack of strays, but I’m out of file folders, hanging files, and motivation.
Only a few of them are directly related to me. My theory is that somehow, they’re all related, though, so I’ve made a little side-project out of trying to connect them up.
I don\’t think these are going to bloom this year, after being transplanted, but the foliage is pretty, especially when it’s speckled with raindrops. These don’t look anything like the leaves on my mom’s coral bells. Hers are pointy and dark purple. These remind me of geranium leaves (I think mine must be the “green spice” variety).
This stuff is growing all over the back of the privacy fence between our field and one of the homes in the bordering subdivision.
I love baby sassafras leaves. Actually, I just love sassafras trees, period.
I noticed that the honeysuckle was about to bloom, so I’ve been keeping an eye on it. Yesterday was the day.
