Crankypantsing

Vrooooom!

My car started beautifully, as if nothing had ever happened. I cleared it off and went for a drive, to make sure A) it had time to warm up completely and B) that the battery had a chance to get a decent charge. Huge relief! Plus, it was kinda nice to get out, even though some of the side roads are a little iffy.

And speaking of, as I was driving down Smith Road, which is seriously iffy in spots, some asstrumpet was clearing his driveway with a little tractor. Only, he was pushing the snow into the road. Nice! Between the giant, newborn potholes and the mountain of snow IN THE ROAD, the drive was a little more exciting than I had anticipated.

Snow Day

It snowed today. A fair amount, too. I think it’s pretty much done now, though, which is good. I’ve got a dental appointment at 8am, so it would be nice if the roads would stay clear. It looks like it’s not supposed to be as cold in the morning as was earlier forecast, which is also good! It may not seem like much of a difference, but 11F is a whole lot warmer than 3F.

Now, I just have to decide whether I’m going to make up time working tomorrow or Saturday. Hmmm.

Delayed Nosypantsing

Coworker A asked me if it was supposed to snow tonight. I looked at Weather.com and gave her the newest forecast. Then, about an hour later, Coworker B informed me that her weather forecaster of choice said something entirely different. Why on earth should I care? I wasn’t the one who wanted to know whether or not it was going to snow, and the person who did want to know left over an hour ago. And besides which, who on earth waits an hour to poke their nose into someone else’s conversation?

WTF?
