This. This is what we have been looking at for days and days and weeks and weeks. It finally cleared up, and it looks like it will stay mostly dry for the next few days.
I wouldn’t mind winter so much if we could just see the sun once occasionally.

Foggy Morning
I walked to work today, to avoid driving home this afternoon during the chaos of freshman move-in. As I was walking, the fog started to descend, and by the time I got to the edge of campus, it was pea soup. Absolutely gorgeous.
I’ve been averaging about 6 miles a day, according to my FitBit. I think it’s probably pretty close to accurate, after comparing it to what my pedometer says. Most of that is split between walking to and from work, with a break in the afternoon to walk around in the stacks.

It stormed on and off yesterday, but last night the clouds cleared to the west, and a rainbow briefly appeared.

It’s still raining! But the grass that was brown yesterday? Today it’s green. And I can see happy, yellow daffodils across the street.

Actually, more like stormy. We’ve had intermittent thunder and lightning since last night, and it doesn’t look like it’s going to stop any time soon. It’s wet out there, yo. Wet and LOUD.
