Chives
I dug up a little bunch of chive bulbs from my mom’s garden in 2006. They’ve lived in a pot on my patio and have been very happy, until last winter. They didn’t make it. This photo came up in my Facebook memories a couple of days ago, and it prompted me to buy some chive seeds. They arrived today. I can’t wait to plant them.

There’s a bed full of echinacea next to our loading dock. I love walking by it every morning.

There is a single cluster of white coneflowers in the middle of the sea of purple, outside the library loading dock.

I never have luck growing echinacea. The deer eat it. We have a lovely bed of it by the entrance to the library loading dock, though.

The babies are finally starting to bloom. There are also more day lilies budding. Hopefully our neighborhood doe won’t clear cut them.
