More Day Lilies and Another Little Friend
Must you keep tapping…?
Someone in number 11 is tap-tap-tapping on the wall. They’ve done this periodically over the past few days. I am tempted to randomly return fire. Or maybe offer them my stud finder.
And a random factoid: According to my WordPress dashboard, I’m at 1,953 posts. Though, for some reason, this post has a permalink number of 2037. I wonder why there’s a discrepancy between the two numbers? Anyway, 2000 should be coming up soon!
Andalso a random Lensbaby macro photo:

I’m cat sitting again this week (and pretty much every weekend for the next month or so), so I took my camera along with me. There are a few flowering shrubs on the property, along with all sorts of teeny-tiny wildflowers, which means there’s usually something interesting to take a picture of there. I got one photo taken, and then my camera battery died. Stupid me. I knew the battery was getting low, and I even have a fully charged spare, but did I bring it with me? Of course not! I R D-U-M-M.

Daylilies
These came from a friend. I transplanted them after they’d bloomed last year, so I wasn’t sure what colors I was getting or even if they’d bloom for me, since I had to plant them in pretty much full shade. They seem to be doing okay, though.
The top photo is a Lensbaby 2.0 shot, but with no filters. I’m shocked that I was able to get the anthers (the polleny bits) in focus.
