I don’t think I will ever get a decent photo of these silly flowers. They’re just too small and fiddly. Every time I try, the wind jostles them around.

I finally got around to planting the seeds I had. There were several varieties of zinnias, four o’clocks, and echinacea. Hopefully something will come up this time. In the meantime, the irises and columbine are blooming their little heads off.

We had an all day, in-house conference today, and since it didn’t start until 8am, I got to sleep in. Before I left for work, I took a look at the garden and saw that the irises were blooming. I’m glad I caught them when I did, because we had torrential downpours today, so the flowers got battered all to hell.

All four of my columbine plants are blooming their little heads off.
