I worried in the spring that a late frost had killed off my butterfly bush. The leaves all turned black and fell off. Apparently they are made of stern stuff, because it’s come back with a vengeance.

My mom said she’d like seeds from my columbine plants, so I went out today and harvested some. The Rose Barlow aren’t dry enough yet, and there are about 10x more pink seeds left on the plant, waiting to dry. I got all the White Barlow and wild columbine seeds, though.
