Piglet is still appalled that Thomas is not Frances, but he’s a realist at heart and is starting to think that maybe Thomas is better than no dog at all.
And look at what my little sunflower is doing today! It’s almost completely open.

Fortress of Solitude
I had a moment of panic, because I couldn’t find Polly. Apparently she’d been having some personal time in the dog crate. The dog crate that the dog will not enter. At least someone is getting some use out of it.
More Progress
Thomas and Piglet
I woke up a little before 1am and saw this happening at the foot of my bed. It took Frances and Piglet almost two months to get to this point. Thomas has been here just two weeks.
They aren’t besties yet, by a long shot, but they’re making quick progress toward friendship.

An Uneasy Truce
I went outside to try to get some butterfly photos, and this was happening when I came back inside.

I think Piglet must be challenging Frances. He was rolling on his back and flopping around like a land trout.

Mr. Piggy had his annual exam and rabies vaccine this afternoon. He weighed in at 13 lbs 9.5 oz and officially looks great.

Should I Bite It?
This is Piglet’s idea of helping with the laundry. And yes, if you stick your hand in his basket fort, he will bite it.
Bedonabed
I washed the covers of Franny’s old beds, then stacked them in the corner of the living room. Polly has been enjoying her new bedonabed.
