Two Kittens in a Tree
Polly and Henry got a new tree today.
At first, they were suspicious of it and pretended to ignore it. I picked up a bunch of their toys and put them in the two circular beds, then sprinkled a little bit of cat nip in them, for good measure. I picked up Henry and put her in the lower bed. She jumped out. Lather, rinse, repeat. Then I did the same with Polly. Then I picked up both cats and popped them into the beds. They sat there a few minutes, then they started bopping each other on their heads. Last I checked, they were curled up asleep, in their new beds, in their new tree.
Fishing for Kitties
Polly and Henry got an awesome care package from their Auntie Cara in Canadia, with treats, toys, and choklit. I am eating the choklit, but the cats get the toys, assuming the dog doesn’t steal them.
I’m going to dole them out slowly, so it’ll be like the 12 Days of Hmas. On day one, the fishing pole.
Sleepy Kittens

I came into the studio to shut down the computer for the night and found Henry and Polly napping together on the dog’s bed. I’m kind of surprised they were still asleep, because at this time of night they’re usually tearing around the house like they’re possessed by evil demons. Time to wake them up and give them their supper.
Henry Watching Her Stories
Henry nearly drove me batshit crazy this morning. She was into everything, and as soon as I’d distract her from one thing, she’d be into another, and then when I’d distract her from that, she was into the first thing again. Then, as I was getting ready to run errands, she finally settled down in front of the Kitty TV to watch her favorite soap opera, The Adventures of Mr. Chipmunk.

Watching
Saturday Kitteh Blogging
Henry and Polly were sitting by the window, watching Kitteh TV, AKA Mr. Chipmunk. (I shot this while I was on the phone with my mom, so it’s a little shaky.)
Tails of Maximum Perturbation
I totally forgot that I’d shot this of the cats a few weeks ago. They were watching Mr. Chipmunk scampering around on the patio, and as you can tell by Henry’s tail, it was most exciting for the kittens.
