I usually take Thomas in three thirty-minute walks a day. Not a lot of exercise for a young Boxer mix! It takes the edge off, though. Today, on all three walks, it started pouring rain half-way through. I have wet clothes draped over everything, drying.

There’s another tattered male Eastern tiger swallowtail flitting around the zinnias today.

When I was out walking the dog this morning, I watched the fog come down. It was pitch black still, so all the streetlights started to shimmer as halos appeared and spread around them, as the fog thickened. I don’t enjoy getting up at at ungodly hours, but there are perks.
The fog was still fairly thick at a little after 8am, when I took these photos.
It’s been three whole days without a Thomas post.
He got to try peanut butter ice cream. He approves.
Also he is a supermodel.

The butterfly photos were taken this evening, on my patio. The Polyphemus moth was lying outside the front entrance of the library, when I left work today.
The bees are still swarming the flowering flame-leaf sumac.
