This was taken early Sunday evening. I was busy folding laundry while Sleeping Beauty was, um, sleeping. At one point, I plopped a basket of clothes on top of her, and not even that woke her up.

The Last Canna
I can’t believe how well the cannas did this year! Last year I planted several bulbs, and they came up, but didn’t do anything. This year, they must have been happy, because a couple of them reached 7 feet tall, and they all bloomed their silly heads off.

Miss Brown was a sad, sick puppy today. She’s feeling better now. And, of course, she’s decided to commandeer all the pillows on my bed.

Fifteen of the last twenty visits to my blog were from people searching for information on the Ingalls family. That post is over three years old, and it is still, by a huge margin, the most popular on my blog. I think that’s kind of amazing. And weird.

Believe it or not, after a grim start, it cleared up later in the day.
Gold and Silver
I love how the buildings change color over the course of the morning, from gold to silver.
I’m trying to do NaNoWriMo again this year. I’m not getting much done during the week, but I am getting enough written each day that I should be able to get caught up on the weekends. We’ll see.
