When I got Frances, she wouldnt go near the bath tub. We played lots of fetch-the-treat games, where I tossed yummy snacks into the tub and she had to jump in to get them. Before long she was happily getting in and out, and now will hop in even knowing she’s going to have an evil bath.
I think she secretly likes baths, actually, now that they are a drama-free experience. The warm massage must feel good.

Not a fly, but a moth got caught in the cobweb weaver web outside my patio window.
Piglet split his day between supervising the roofers out front and watching birds and chipmunks out back. And so far, so good with the peeing.
Piglet had a miserable day. Our vet was able to squeeze us in, thankfully, because the verdict was a urinary blockage. You don’t mess around with blockages. The vet was able to clear the blockage and sent Piglet home with pain meds. Stoned Piglet is stoned.
He’s likely to block again. that’s just how it works. I swore I would bever have another male cat, after going through this with Rory. It’s a freaking nightmare.
He just peed, though, so that’s cause for cautious optimism. And he’s up and moving around, for the first time today.
I cleaned litter boxes and took out the trash. When I got back, Piglet was at his regular post.
Finally! The yellow daylilies have joined the party.
I can never get my phone camera to focus on these squirrely things. Holding them in my hand helps.
The daylilies are blooming frantically. Red now, and there should be yellow in a few days.
