Clouds in My Coffee
Breakfast of champions! I love how almond milk looks like clouds, when you pour it into swirling coffee.

Mr. Piggy had his annual exam and rabies vaccine this afternoon. He weighed in at 13 lbs 9.5 oz and officially looks great.

Comet Seed
I found this comet seedpod while walking up the driveway of the house where I’m cat sitting. The driveway is ridiculously steep, so I’ve been parking at the bottom and walking up, as a workout.
Cosmic Pickle
Best snack in the world: Teeny tiny itty bitty little crispy dill pickles with sharp cheddar cheese.
I didn’t get to the shelter today, to look at dogs. One of the cats I’m sitting for was sick, so I took him to the vet, instead. I’m starting to think the universe is telling me that I’m not allowed to have another dog.
Hmf.
Double Rainbow
On my way to work this morning, I saw an enormous flash of cloud-to-cloud lightning in the western sky. And then, after the sun rose, there was a gorgeous double rainbow. The sky in the west was still dark with storm clouds, but the sun was shining brightly on the buildings, and off in the distance there were occasional streaks of lightning.
Not a bad way to start the day.
Prepping
I think I’ve got all my papers gathered up and sorted. Now I just have to wait for Friday to get here, so I can go visit the shelter. Fingers and toes crossed!
