When I lived out in the country, I had these guys living in several of my windows, between the glass and the screen. I just left them alone, because they were harmless where they were, and they eat bugs. It’s also interesting to watch their babies hatch.

This one is on the outside of my patio door, sheltered in the overhang.

Apparently the peppers I started from seed (as opposed to the ones I got as seedlings from a coworker) were from a variety pack. There are purple peppers, long green ones, and yellow ones. Hopefully they’re all mild. Surely I would not have bought hot pepper seeds?

Camera-wise, the shots in this post are all untouched, aside from cropping. Those in the last post were pretty heavily edited.

Thing 1 and Thing 2

“Pardon?”

These two are so freaking cute, they drive me to distraction. They are also very, very B-A-D. I am constantly reminded of the twin goats we had when I was a kid. I don’t even remember if they had proper names. We called them Thing 1 and Thing 2. They, too, were very, very B-A-D. And like the kittens, where you found one goat, you could be sure the other was nearby. What good is it, getting into trouble, if you do not have a trusty sidekick?

Must you keep tapping…?

Someone in number 11 is tap-tap-tapping on the wall. They’ve done this periodically over the past few days. I am tempted to randomly return fire. Or maybe offer them my stud finder.

And a random factoid: According to my WordPress dashboard, I’m at 1,953 posts. Though, for some reason, this post has a permalink number of 2037. I wonder why there’s a discrepancy between the two numbers? Anyway, 2000 should be coming up soon!

Andalso a random Lensbaby macro photo:
