While driving to work at a little before 6:00 this morning, I noticed that that the sky had mostly cleared. That didn’t last for long, though. A thick mat of clouds soon moved in, and by 8:00, the sky was a once again overcast. Except for a thin band near the eastern horizon, that is. It was just enough for the sun to peek through, as it rose. It was absolutely gorgeous, and it only lasted a few minutes.

Cleaning
I finally decided to clean the studio today. Yowza! It’s about 90% finished. I probably won’t get around to vacuuming until tomorrow, but at least the majority of the work is done. While I was sorting through drawers and boxes and piles of junk, I came across an old folder from a humanities class I took in high school. It’s hugely embarrassing, but I thought I\’d post a photo of it anyway, for I have no pride. Most of the writing is old school goth (back when it was called death rock) and punk lyrics and song titles. I think it was probably 1985 or 1986.

Small Change
I never spend pennies. I have a bunch of bowls and piggy banks and even teapots, where I dump them when I clean out my coin purse. This was a habit I started in high school, only then I kept them in a half-gallon Bacardi bottle. When the bottle was about half-full, I knew I had enough pennies to cash in to pay for a concert ticket. In high school and college, I went to a lot of concerts with my pennies. Now, I just let them pile up.

Snow Day
It snowed today. A fair amount, too. I think it’s pretty much done now, though, which is good. I’ve got a dental appointment at 8am, so it would be nice if the roads would stay clear. It looks like it’s not supposed to be as cold in the morning as was earlier forecast, which is also good! It may not seem like much of a difference, but 11F is a whole lot warmer than 3F.
Now, I just have to decide whether I’m going to make up time working tomorrow or Saturday. Hmmm.
