The kittens my neighbor rescued are growing up, but they’re still cute and playful. I think she’s going to keep the girl, but the two orange boys are available. These are very nice cats. They’re well socialized and incredibly affectionate with people.

Oxalis
I have the black thumb of doom. My house is usually where plants come to die, so I don’t know why this silly oxalis is so happy here. It literally had three leaves on it when I brought it home. I’ve forgotten to water it for weeks on end, and when it was sitting on the dining room table, Polly would periodically sleep in it. Apparently it is indestructible.

Last night, after sunset but before it became dark, a mass of puffy little stratocumulus cotton balls moved in. And out. About five minutes after I took this photo, the sky was clear again.
