I know, dogs shouldn’t have chocolate. But there wasn’t actually much chocolate in it, and I rinsed it out before giving it to her. This is what’s known as cheap entertainment–for her and for me. I wish the photos of her with her head in the container had turned out, because they were hilarious. Maybe next time.

Ready, Set, Go!
This is a very(!) short video of Miss Brown, on her way to dinner. She doesn’t believe in wasting time.
Saturday Dogblogging
Harriet was almost out of food, so I stopped to pick some up on my way home from work. This time, Wellness Core, which is what I wanted to get last time, as it is grain free, but they were out. It was in stock this time, and she likes it just as much as the Wellness Super 5 Mix.
There’s a shot of Pandora toward the end. She was supervising.
Under the Kitchen Table
Crazy Dog
Harriet just had her ears washed, so she had to do the “rub her face on the back of the couch” routine.
Napping
Harriet went back to the vet yesterday. Her ear infection is still not cleared up, and her feet are still bothering her. Swabs from both showed bacteria and yeast, so we got more wipes for her feet, oral anti-fungal/yeast tablets, and drops for her ears. The ear scope and swabs hurt and made her cry and shiver. Poor puppy.
But she was very good for the vet, even though she was in pain. Then again last night, when I was putting drops in her ears, she started shivering. I don’t know if it was in anticipation that it would hurt, or because it really did hurt. She was fine for this morning’s drops, so hopefully her ears are getting less painful.

Wellness Dog Food
I went to two different places to look for Harriet’s food, but everyone was out of it. This was another (sort of) limited ingredient food that looked similar enough, to I decided to give it a try. Well, not me, personally. Anyway, Harriet likes it, and she spent about an hour cleaning out the inside of the bag.

Pink Fleece
Miss Freezydog got a new fleece yesterday. It’s a cheapo, but I needed to see how it fit and how it’ll wear, before I order something better quality online. Like, in theory, a large should fit her, but she really needs an XL, because she’s so deep chested. Now I know. This one is okay, though not idea, because the fabric is a little stretchy. Alsotoo, pink. It’s not a great color for redheads.
She also got a new collar. The nylon one she had was still very nice, but because it was braided, it made the fur on her neck lay funny. We’re back to leather, which I prefer.
