Ice Cream Party
It’s been three whole days without a Thomas post.
He got to try peanut butter ice cream. He approves.
Also he is a supermodel.
Oh look, it’s raining
It’s nothing like what’s happening in Louisiana, thankfully, and it did clear up this afternoon.
The flowers are happy, at least!
It was pouring rain when I walked the dog this morning, though. Thomas got drenched, so when we got home, he got his first bath. He was really good in the tub, but he HATED it. That’s okay. I don’t know what I’d do with a dog
who liked baths.
He humored me afterward and let me take a photo of him in his towel burrito.
Goodwill Haul
The last few times I’ve been to Goodwill, they haven’t had any books I wanted. Today I found a bunch.
I also saw, but did not buy(!), a bunch of 8-track tapes.
And bonus begface. Did you know that cute aggression is a real thing? I just want to squish him and nibble on his adorable ears.
More Progress
Thomas and Piglet
I woke up a little before 1am and saw this happening at the foot of my bed. It took Frances and Piglet almost two months to get to this point. Thomas has been here just two weeks.
They aren’t besties yet, by a long shot, but they’re making quick progress toward friendship.

An Uneasy Truce
I went outside to try to get some butterfly photos, and this was happening when I came back inside.

Thomas took a moment to stop and smell the flowers. And then he went straight back to looking for bunnies.
Sometimes He Sleeps
Thomas didn’t eat any more books yesterday or today. Good boy! He got a long walk this evening and then actually settled down and slept for five minutes. He doesn’t often have time to snuggle, but when he does, he’s ridiculously cute about it.
Supermodel
I have no idea why he loves the ottoman so much, or why he likes to pose on it.
He ate a library book yesterday. Eeep! My fault for leaving them down where he could reach them. I moved them all this morning, and he didn’t destroy anything while I was gone today. Good boy!
