Four O’Clocks in the Morning

Apparently the secret to photographing four o’clocks is to catch them early in the morning, before they close up shop for the day. These were still heavy with dew.

I got the big camera out, for a change. I was hoping to get a few photos of my four o’clocks, but it’s overcast and by the time it’s late enough in the day for them to open, the decent light will be gone. Maybe tomorrow. There are some pink and yellow variegated ones that are very pretty. You’ll have to make do with zinnias, because I’m not tired of them yet. I may never get tired of them.

I played at Goodwill today, where I got a stack of books. Because I need more books. Some are kiddie lit, but the rest are for collage. In one of the “for collage” books I found an 8 x 10 photo of a little boy. I am going to keep it and frame it and hang it on my wall, because it is made of awesome.
