Now that the bees and flowers are gone, the sumac trees are fruiting. The fruit is edible.

There used to be tons of giant ragweed growing in the thicket by my patio. This time of year I was always miserable from allergies, because of it, but this year hasn’t been as bad. And I guess that’s why. I only just noticed I didn’t see any. Maybe invasive honeysuckle choked it out? And now the poke berries, burdock, ironweed, and jewelweed are choking out the honeysuckle.
And yes, the fur tree by my patio died. They were going to cut down all the diseased fir trees a few years ago but never did. The birds still use it.
You’re awesome! Have a great day!
There’s a chalkboard on the loading dock at work, and someone left a message. And a cute kitty drawing.

The purples are blooming, finally! I also have a few cosmos buds threatening to open.
I had a monarch butterfly visiting my firstborn zinnia this morning.
I found this fighty little guy in my house. How dare I relocate him outside.
My little baby is all grown up. And a little chewed up.
On my way to work. Someone just dumped a scooter in the middle of the sidewalk.
Walking in the stacks. Someone decided it was okay to just shove the books on the shelf any which way.
My upstairs neighbors. This gigantic TV has been sitting right outside my door since Memorial Day. It’s now on Facebook Marketplace for $40. Do they really think someone is going to pay them for that?
When you’re snug and cozy in your blankie, but you see cat crimes being perpetrated outside.
