The weather forecast called for “abundant sunshine” today. I’m not complaining about the actual weather. It’s beautiful. But those cirrus clouds do not scream “abundant sunshine” to me.

We celebrated with many hats and also a breakfast of poached egg on toast. Piglet had to get in on the act, too, which Franny was fine with. She’s an awfully good girl. It’s hard to believe I’ve had her for a year.
