The sad part is that there are people out there who really are that clueless.
In other news, I ran out of dish soap and needed to wash a few dishes, but didn’t want to go to the store. So, I used plain old bar soap, sudsing it up with a scrubby sponge, and it worked GREAT. Who knew?!
I love the way the pink light from the rising sun reflects off the steam and the top of the building.
I like the pattern the steam makes in this image. It was about 10F, and it’s supposed to be just as cold tomorrow morning, too. As I was warming up my car and scraping the windows, before leaving for work, one of my neighbors came out of his apartment, jumped in his car, started it, and immediately drove off. Without letting it warm up, and without scraping the windows! Poor car!
Cheddar cheese muffins, chocolate chip cookies, and, lurking behind the cookies, banana bread. It got snowy and cold, so I’ve been on a baking binge.
I was lying on the couch, reading a book, and Polly was sitting on the back of the couch, supervising.
The novelty has worn off.
I woke up to a thick blanket of snow on the ground, and though it’s eased off over the day, it’s still coming down.
