The fog was thick all day, so thick that the construction crane was invisible.

Crazy Dog
Harriet just had her ears washed, so she had to do the “rub her face on the back of the couch” routine.

Baby Jesus Cornbread
My neighbor brought me a piece of Christmas cornbread. Just a plain, square piece of cornbread, wrapped in a paper towel. To celebrate the Bebeh Jeebus’ birth. Is this part of some tradition that I have heretofore been unaware?

Napping
Harriet went back to the vet yesterday. Her ear infection is still not cleared up, and her feet are still bothering her. Swabs from both showed bacteria and yeast, so we got more wipes for her feet, oral anti-fungal/yeast tablets, and drops for her ears. The ear scope and swabs hurt and made her cry and shiver. Poor puppy.
But she was very good for the vet, even though she was in pain. Then again last night, when I was putting drops in her ears, she started shivering. I don’t know if it was in anticipation that it would hurt, or because it really did hurt. She was fine for this morning’s drops, so hopefully her ears are getting less painful.

Holy Crap!
I just checked my time sheet, and there was a notice posted that all staff, faculty, and students of the university can download a list of Adobe products for FREE. As in, Adobe Creative Suite 4 Design Premium, which is a $1,800 piece of software that includes Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, etc.
I repeat: Holy crap!
Quilting Report
I managed to get my sewing machine set up, which was an adventure, and I even got a few squares sewn. I also managed, somehow, to slice my thumb open. It’s not deep, but it’s on the inside of the joint, so it hurts every time I bend it.
I also now know why people buy pre-cut quilting squares. Cutting brazillions of squares of fabric is a ginormous pain in the ass.
